Freya’s Sailing Journey Raising Mental Health Awareness
You might have noticed a bright pink boat on the marina. It belongs to Freya who is in Peterhead over the winter months as part of a 2300 mile journey round the UK raising awareness for mental health.
Freya is aiming to set a new record as the youngest and first female to voyage around the UK and Ireland solo by sail.
She is raising awareness about mental health especially around young people through talks and visits as she sails round the Uk.
It's been great having Freya around the club and her help with our Monday Group is much appreciated.
